Important information for Manage My Health users
Willow Medical Centre is aware of the recent breach of the Manage My Health platform a. Many of our patients use this platform to connect to their health information. We understand that many of you will be concerned about this breach and what it may mean for your health data.
What we’re doing
As a proactive measure to protect the data of our patients who use this service we have disconnected Manage My Health access to health information stored by Willow Medical Centre. For patients registered for Manage My Health, this means the platform no longer has access to the health information that is stored by Willow Medical Centre.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will only re-enable access if we are satisfied that ongoing use of Manage My Health is safe to use and in the best interests of our practice and our patients.
For patients who use Manage My Health
While those who have been impacted have not yet been identified, Manage My Health have indicated that about 6 – 7 per cent of all of their users are affected. If your information was involved, Manage My Health will contact you directly once this has been confirmed.
For the latest information, visit the Manage My Health website.
