Counselling
We are pleased to offer therapy services at Willow. Our counsellor provides a safe, confidential, and supportive space to talk through a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, low mood, life transitions, relationship challenges, and general wellbeing.
Many people find counselling a useful part of their overall healthcare, and we aim to make this more accessible and work alongside your usual healthcare provider for a more comprehensive and holistic approach to your health and wellbeing.
If you are a registered patient with Willow and feel counselling support may be helpful for you, please speak with our team to find out more or to make an appointment.
This service is available to other select medical centres via invitation only and in that situation referral from a GP or nurse is required.
What to expect from counselling
Counselling provides a confidential and supportive space to talk openly about what is going on for you. Sessions are led at your pace and focus on what matters most to you.
You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from counselling - people attend for many different reasons, including managing stress, improving coping skills, working through challenges, or gaining clarity and perspective. Counselling is a collaborative process, and sessions are tailored to your individual needs and goals.
If you are unsure whether counselling is right for you, please make an appointment with your usual healthcare provider who will be happy to discuss your individual needs, and possible options for you.
During counselling you can expect:
A safe, non-judgemental environment
Respect for your privacy and confidentiality
Time to talk, reflect, and be heard
Support to understand your thoughts, feelings, and experiences
Practical strategies to help manage difficulties and support wellbeing.
